Art Lounge is a Drop–In inspirational space for students to work on their art projects.

Term time Art Lounge is suitable for students KS3, GCSE, A level, and above who want to complete their art homework, coursework, or any student who would like to practice their artistic skills. Staff at Art Lounge offer the opportunity to be part of a creative community with excellent qualified support and in a friendly atmosphere.

Most materials are provided although we recommend you bring your own sketchbook, pencil case, coursework etc to make the work more personal to you. 

To keep those hungry teenagers fed, there will be snacks and hot or cold beverages  available.

WHEN:
Drop in sessions 3.30pm - 5.30pm.
Currently Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s in term time only.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a drop in session and new visitors must have an under 18 registration form completed and signed by a parent/guardian. To receive a registration form please contact debbie@proteanArt .com

FEE OPTIONS:
Pay As You Go £4.50
Payment for each session is made to staff in the studio at the beginning of the session.

Half Term Pass
A pre-paid pass that allows pupils currently to visit up to 2 times a week for a half term. This has been calculated according to the fluctuating number of weeks per school term.

Full Term Pass
A pre-paid pass that allows pupils currently to visit up to 2 times a week for a full term. This has been calculated according to the fluctuating number of weeks per school term.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 
As this is a 'Drop In' activity booking is necessary if you require a Half Term or Full Term Pass. If you choose the Pay As You Go option payment must be made at the beginning of each session.

All under 18's must bring a completed parental permission slip to the first Art lounge session.

HEALTH & SAFETY:
All tutors are DBS checked and have Public Liability Insurance.

Participants will have the opportunity to wear an apron, but ProteanArt takes no responsibility for damage to clothes etc.

Any sharp tools, such as craft knives will be used with the discretion of the staff, and they will give clear health and safety instructions.

Any participants attending Art lounge need to demonstrate they can obey safety rules and exhibit good behaviour. Any participants exhibiting anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave.
