ProteanArt is led by artists Debbie and John Todd and is part of a creative community based at Woodings Yard, Stafford, UK.
We are both individual practicing artists in our own disciplines (see our large scale work here) , but we also deliver creative and educational workshop activities, running a wide variety of workshop programmes to suit many interests and disciplines.
We offer inspirational resources and teaching in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and want all participants to enjoy being creative and grow in their appreciation of the visual world around them.
ProteanArt creates bespoke art installations and large scale artwork pieces as part of community based projects or as standalone commissions .
On tour - We deliver participatory educational workshops, build art installations and work with schools, hospitals and businesses.
Art kits - ProteanArt has developed a range of “home art kits” to encourage creativity in the comfort of your own home. Each kit includes easy to follow written instructions, all materials and inspiration images to help you create something original and bespoke. The art kits are great thoughtful gifts.
Accessibility to Woodings Yard studios
When you come for a workshop or class there is a no parking policy within Woodings Yard. Disability parking is located very nearby. The ProteanArt studio has wheelchair access and WY Studios have a downstairs unisex toilet that is also wheelchair accessible/friendly.
