We will guide you through the process of designing and carving your very own lino printing block and then show you how to print with it to create a series of artwork

The lino printing workshop is suitable for beginners or the more experienced lino cutter.

You could make a series of art prints or print your own cards ready for Christmas.

You will-

Make a design suitable for an A6 print or a 9cm square print.

Learn how to use traditional cutting tools to create different types of marks and textures on a lino plate.

Learn how to ink up and print from your lino plate.

You will have a chance to experiment and play with different types of printing surface.

You will be able to take away your printing plate and continue printing your design again and again at home.

More details will be given on booking, including directions etc.

This class is suitable for 14yrs -adult and is approx. 2 hours long.

Please wear clothing suitable for an art class as it can get messy!

The cost is £30 per session including all materials.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

All Art sessions need to be booked in advance and payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Parking is not available at Woodings Yard Studios as it is a pedestrian zone, but there is free 3 hour parking available at the nearby Tescoes.

If disability parking is required please contact us. Limited parking available on site - subject to strict availability on the day. Ownership and display of a valid blue badge is essential to qualify.
